A terrific offensive talent, McAdoo can score in the paint or float around the perimeter and nail jumpers. His shooting ability sets him apart from many other power forward prospects and he could go as high as #1 overall in 2013.
Pros
A very quick and explosive athlete, McAdoo has legit power forward size but can also play outside the paint. A very good shooter who can consistently hit jumpers out to college three. Very quick up and down the court and is a hustle player. Solid rebounder and becoming a good interior defender and weak side shot blocker. Explosive leaper and dunker and is excellent at taking his man off the dribble.
Feisty defender who plays the passing lanes well. Has the athleticism to guard in the open court and put pressure on the ball.
Cons
Not a true back to the basket power forward and not a bruiser inside. Will likely develop better back to the basket moves over the years but for now he uses his quickness and versatility, rather than brute strength. A bit of a tweener between a wing and a post player.
